This compost accelerating bio-ferment formula is something that every gardener needs to know about.

Ed Bernhardt, the master gardener, and author shares his personal recipe for enriching soil quickly.

He also gives us a tour of his quick compost systems and an intriguingly simple water filter that anyone could build from inexpensive materials found nearly anywhere in the world.

Ed has been developing his permaculture homestead and education center, the New Dawn Center, for some 40 years, now.

In the podcast episode that accompanies this video, we learned that Ed was teaching organic gardening to youth in Costa Rica, back in the ’80s.

He now teaches organic land management and plant care to University students. A program that he’s soon to take online.

Ed also grows a variety of medicinal plants that he processes with his wife for sale at the local farmer’s market.

If you enjoyed this peek into Ed’s world, be sure to check out the full-length podcast episode.

We’re planning on putting out at least one video a week, showcasing different sustainability projects.

I hope you enjoy it!
